Christopher Comstock (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 19, 1992), artistically known as Marshmello, is an American future bass, electronic and electrohouse producer and DJ. He started his career in 2015.

He began to gain international notoriety thanks to his remixes of songs by Jack Ü and Zedd,. among others. His song "Alone" entered the Billboard Hot 100. He has collaborated with artists such as Selena Gomez, Juice WRLD, Anne-Marie, Miranda Cosgrove, Ookay, Jauz, Slushii and Syrah.

Marshmello wears a marshmallow-shaped mask (hence the name "marshmello") with "X"s in his eyes during his public appearances. In an interview, Skrillex referred to Marshmello as "Chris" when Marshmello called him on the phone. in the middle of the interview, implying that it was Comstock and thus revealing his identity. Despite his anonymity, he has received numerous international awards in his brief career, which began in 2015. His masked DJ character is inspired by others such as deadmau5, Cazzette, Mike Candys or Daft Punk.
